About Us
The sassy little sister restaurant of “Aanch-Modernistic Indian Cuisine”, “By Aanch” is a theatrical interpretation of modern day Indian fare. Led by Chef Sudhanshu Kumar who while staying true to traditional Indian recipes added his creative twist to each dish.
We serve an array of Indian centric cocktails and intimate platters which are brought to life with heady spices- ground in-house, and combining diverse regional methods of cooking. With dashing interiors featuring glimpses of old India, we are bringing the finest Indian flavours to the heart of College Street.
Our Chef
Sudhanshu Kumar, the man behind By Aanch, is quite a storyteller with each dish unfolding his journey of becoming a chef. With a few cooking tricks up his sleeve and a pocket full of dreams Sudhanshu journeyed to Canada where he studied Culinary Management in Niagara College. It was here he realized his true calling for showcasing Indian food with a modern approach.
